MIDI Clips

Upload MIDI files (.mid) to songs or individual steps. Perfect for:

• Click tracks and count-ins
• Backing sequences
• Reference arrangements

Uploading a MIDI Clip

1. Open a song
2. Go to the MIDI Clip tab
3. Tap Upload and select a .mid file
4. The clip is stored and ready to play

Playback

MIDI clips play through your device’s built-in synthesizer using Tone.js. The audio outputs through your device speakers or headphones.

Step-Based Auto-Trigger

When using song steps, you can attach a MIDI clip to each step and configure it to auto-trigger when the step starts. This is the recommended way to automate MIDI clip playback during performance.

Manual Playback

Tap the Play button in the song view to start a clip manually, or use a MIDI CC mapping to trigger it from your footswitch.

Transport Controls

• Play/Pause — Start or pause playback
• Stop — Stop and return to beginning
• Seek — Tap the progress bar to jump to a position

Note

MIDI clips are personal to each user and not shared with the band. Each member can upload their own clips.
